The problem – and it’s been a problem in all the films – is how to turn a book that runs less than fifty pages with little text into a feature length narrative. It seems eventually Hollywood will churn out every Dr. Seuss book into a movie, and the latest of the Dr. Seuss classics to hit film form is The Lorax. Added to the cast are Danny DeVito, Taylor Swift and Zac Efron, along with Ed Helms, Rob Riggle and Betty White. Universal will be releasing the picture and the animation will be done by Illumination Entertainment, who were behind Despicable Me and did the CG animation for Hop.

Garry Marshall’s romantic comedy Valentine’s Day continues to haunt us with the follow up entitled New Year’s Eve. It makes you wonder if we’re going to go through all the holidays at some point. The film will have an ensemble cast that currently includes Robert De Niro, Hilary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Biel, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, and yes, Ashton Kutcher is back. According to THR, three more actors have joined the feature in the form of Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Efron, and Halle Berry.

According to THR, he’s attached to star in the American remake of the Swedish thriller Snabba Cash (Easy Money) a movie that’s filled with plenty of illegal activities like drug trafficking and money laundering. After the release of the theatrical trailer for Me and Orson Welles it would only be a matter of time before the first official poster dropped. Over at Cinematical, they’ve premiered the one sheet that features Zac Efron, Claire Danes, and Christopher McKay. The film is an adaptation of the Robert Kaplow novel of the same name. It centers on a 17 year old (Efron), who has landed a part in a 1937 production of Julius Caesar, which is directed by a young Orson Welles.
