Last week I sat down with Sebastian Gutierrez the director behind the new film Women in Trouble, featuring several of Hollywood’s finest and up and coming actresses Carla Gugino, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Adrianne Palicki, Marley Shelton, and Connie Britton in some revealing outfits all acting their hearts out with Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Simon Baker in toe. I recently sat down to a one on one interview with Sebastian to talk about how it doesn’t take a huge budget or all the Hollywood extras to make a great movie. He filled us in on the joys of independent filmmaking, his love of strong female characters, and what it takes to make a good independent film these days.

We have quite the coverage this week. We literally have interviews and reviews for every movie coming out from Roland Emmerich’s 2012 to Women in Trouble. Then there is the more family friendly, but still fun for the adults, Fantastic Mr. Fox by Wes Anderson. Pirate Radio is the a comedy with an all-star cast about the radio stations in the 60′s that set up shop off the British coast. There are quite a couple of indie movies coming out this week, but they’re definitely worth checking to see if they are playing near you.

Check out all the movies hitting theaters this week with reviews and interviews…

We’ve seen some fun posters, had they sexy Carla Gugino tell us that she’s not wearing any underwear, but until now, we had yet to see how they all fit into the porno-drama, Women in Trouble. From the looks of this trailer, we have a lot to be excited for.

The cast includes Gugino alongside Connie Britton, Marley Shelton, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Adrianne Palicki, Josh Brolin, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and follows eight different women in trouble with sex.

The movie features an all star cast, which includes Carla Gugino, Connie Britton, Marley Shelton, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Adrianne Palicki, Josh Brolin, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt just to name a few. Similar to the other posters we’ve brought your way this latest image is full of estrogen and sex appeal.

Finally some decent promotion for the Sebastian Gutierrez film, Women in Trouble. It features an all star cast of ladies led by Carla Gugino, who plays a porn star who finds out she’s pregnant. If that’s not enough, there are a pair of strippers, a stewardess, and a psychiatrist all intertwined in a sick, yet comedic plot. The title is fitting because these chicks have issues, serious issues.

Here’s not one, not two, but three posters for the film…

CG Spells Trouble 590x394 Carla Guginos Not Wearing Any Underwear

What better way get the boys into theaters to see the upcoming comedy Women In Trouble, from director Sebastian Gutierrez, than by having Carla Gugino look straight into camera and say “I’m not wearing any underwear…” You can say anything else you want, but really, that along with all the positive buzz this film has been receiving since it hit the festival circuit at SXSW should be plenty of reason for you to check it out come November.

Check out the video below where the sexy Gugino and the cute and ditsy Adrianne Palicki talk about their lack of underwear, swearing, lingerie, and spaceships…

CG Spells Trouble 590x394 Carla Guginos Women in Trouble Poster and Clip

The promotion for Women in Trouble has been a little too under the radar for my taste. We’ve barely seen a trailer or even a teaser promoting the movie, which is doing it a real disservice. It stars Carla Gugino as a porn star named Elektra Luxx, in the film directed by Sebastian Gutierrez. If you think these two are a great combo, you should check out the rest of the extensive cast.

carlacugino08 12 16 News: Carla Gugino Goes For a Porn Role!

Add this to her list of films. Cinematical reports that writer-director Sebastian Gutierrez has set Carla Gugino to star in Elektra Luxx, the story of a porn star whose life gets turned upside down when she finds out she’s pregnant.

Pic is a sequel to “Women in Trouble,” an ensemble comedy about one day in the lives of 10 Los Angeles women that has yet to find distribution.

“Elektra Luxx” picks up the travails of the characters a month later, again covering a full day. The original starred Gugino, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Adrianne Palicki, Marley Shelton, Connie Britton, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Simon Baker.
