Big-shot director Sam Mendes has landed a rebound project after Bond 23 was given the heave-ho. He’s moved on to bigger and better things or at least what he hopes will be better. Sources are reporting that he may direct a prequel to the beloved classic Wizard of Oz entitled, Oz the Great and Powerful based on the title character. Who could play a man so great, so powerful, so charismatic? How about Robert Downey Jr?
