Last year at the ShoWest Film Festival Sony announced they had plans to produce another sequel in their lucrative Men in Black series entitled, Men in Black 3D. At the time there was no definite word on if star Will Smith would return as Agent Jay or Tommy Lee Jones as his older, wiser partner Agent Kay but according to a recent report from Showbiz 411, both actors will be back to reprise their roles in the second sequel.

The 1996 action flick that featured an ensemble cast and made Will Smith Mr. Fourth of July could be up for a sequel or two and we’re hearing that the actor might be down to shoot them.

A few set photos have been released from the upcoming reimagining of the eighties classic The Karate Kid. The new film entitled, The Kung Fu Kid, stars Jaden Smith in the lead role as a troubled youth, and Jackie Chan as his martial arts mentor, Mr. Han. Over at SpoilerTV they’ve posted several photos of what looks like an intense training session between student and teacher.

Even though I didn’t despise Bad Boys 2 as much as the rest of the world, I’m surprised by this latest development. According to THR, a third Bad Boys film is in the works. The last time we saw Will Smith and Martin Lawrence team up for the buddy cop film was back in 2003. Columbia Pictures plans to reignite the franchise, and have hired a writer to help them do it.
