Last week, there was a rumor circulating that Oscar winning film composer Trent Reznor was going produce the score of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and appear on screen in a supporting role. After the news swept the net like wildfire, Reznor himself has decided to clear up any misunderstanding about his involvement in the film.
Trent Reznor has had a hell of a year. The former Nine Inch Nails frontman has found a new career path in feature films. The Oscar winning composer (The Social Network) is currently working on the score for David Fincher’s latest project The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and according to Badass Digest, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.
When David Fincher finds something or someone that works, he sticks with them (just ask Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, and Rooney Mara). Fincher’s most recent creative collaboration was with Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor who scored his drama The Social Network. According to Billboard, they will make more magic together because he’s been tapped to compose the music for Fincher’s adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Back in July, it was announced that Trent Reznor of the rockband Nine Inch Nails would be doing the score for David Fincher’s upcoming film, The Social Network. It sounds like a weird combination but Reznor revealed on his website that Fincher approached him about the job, not the other way around. After the debut of the teaser trailer for David Fincher’s The Social Network, the general population has been wanting more. The video didn’t feature any live-action footage but instead opted for various lines of dialogue from the characters. Even though we’re still in the dark regarding the actual look of the film, some light has been shed on its soundtrack. According to the official website of the rock band Nine Inch Nails, frontman Trent Reznor will score the music for the movie.
