Just released on Michael Bay’s website, are three new TV spots for his upcoming action packed movie-ride, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen starring Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox. From what I can see the three clips are all very different and geared towards a three different sections of the action-going audience.
First we have some comedy for those in need of some chuckles with your fight sequences, then we get some dramatic action for those of you hoping this film has a plot, and finally they round it off with some cool special effects that we have never seen before for people like me.
Before I give anything else away, check out the clips for yourself below…

Wow. I am one of those people who says that Michael Bay spends way too much money making over the top, ridiculous films. But this trailer looks pretty damn cool. I don’t think you can deny it, it’s got plenty of “wow” factor. I love the cat-like transformer that comes out of the ocean. I know some of you may have caught the bootleg version over there weekend, but here’s the real deal in HD…

- Speaking of Friday the 13th, check out some video interviews with the film’s cast. The actors featured include Jared Padalecki, Amanda Righetti and Danielle Panabaker. Watch as “they talk about their roles in this reboot of the long-running slasher franchise and their encounters with Jason Voorhees.” [Shocktillyoudrop]
- Sad news to report. They’re making a movie based on the children’s toy, Stretch Armstrong. It’s disturbing, but true. Universal Pictures has acquired the film rights from Hasbro, and they’ve hired Steve Oedekerk (Bruce Almighty) to write the script. [Variety]
- Academy Award winning director Curtis Hanson has signed on for a new film entitled, Gemini Man.”The Disney project involves a government agent on the verge of retirement, only to wind up in the sights of an assassin who is actually a young clone of himself.” [Joblo]
