Edward Norton‘s had a rocky path in Hollywood, partly by his own making. Known for tinkering with scripts, he’s done films out of contractual obligation, and never courted an easy path. Latino Review has posted that an offer has gone out to Jeremy Renner to play the new lead in the latest Bourne Spin-off, currently titled The Bourne Legacy. They saw Bond as trying to keep up with Jason Bourne and younger fans. So of course when I read via Cinemablend that Tony Gilroy has been added to the shortlist of potential director’s for the next 007 film it screamed irony.
