It can be stressful to browse through twenty pages of DVDs, and not find a single one worth watching. Therefore, I have put together yet another list of cheap DVDs to help narrow down that painful selection process. Many of the films this week are oldies, but are worth watching again, and ultimately owning. Most of these films go for the same price that a ticket goes for at your local theater, and well if you purchase these, chances are you will keep them forever.

You have plenty of horror films to choose from (I guess Halloween is coming up), as well as some decent TV shows and a couple of good indie films. My personal pick would be Paranoid Park, a film written and directed by Gus Van Sant, about a young skater-boy who tries to deal with the consequences of killing a security guard. Almost the entire cast is made of non-actors who had never acted before, and many who never acted after. Also, a great way to gear up for Van Sant’s new release Milk, which looks amazing! Then there is The Visitor, which is in my opinion, is a movie that was not widely released, but a very well put together. Plus they’re re-releasing Touch Of Evil and Sleeping Beauty! Fun!
