It’s time to get serious people! Push the intensity (not necessarily the quality) to 11 and you’ve got: Knowing, Push, and The Unborn all rolling into stores. That along with some classic TV shows such as “Matlock” and “Murder She Wrote” along with newer comedies such as “Kath and Kim.” And then, of course, we have three horrible straight-to-DVD releases to whet your MST3K appetite.

The good news is there are still plenty of other amazing films in theaters for you to see right now. This weeks releases are pretty thin. We’re getting to that time of year. Anyone going for an Oscar released their films towards the end of last year, anyone with a big Blockbuster is waiting for summer, and now we get… the rest. And it’s not very good.

This films’s got a LOT of shit going on. MTV released a new trailer for David S. Goyer’s new horror film for 2009 “The Unborn” starring Odette Yustman, Gary Oldman, Cam Gigandet, Meagan Good, Jane Alexander, and Idris Elba.
The story is about a teenage girl, Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) whose mother inexplicably left her when she was a child. As Casy grows older she begins to find out why she left. She had a twin brother when she was younger that died. Casy begins to become plagued with nightmares and a tortured ghost that haunts her, so she turns to Sendak (Gary Oldman), who uncovers the source of a family curse. Her brother was so evil that when he died, he was denied entrance to heaven. Now he wants back on earth and he needs to find a body to bear him.
