Despite the fact that Warner Bros. has been extremely tight-lipped about the upcoming Superman: The Man of Steel project in terms of script details (Michael Shannon, who is set to play Supes villain General Zod, confirmed in an interview that he wasn’t even allowed to read the script, and that director Zack Snyder could only “describe” the film to him), that isn’t stopping Diane Lane, who will play Superman’s adoptive human mother, Martha Kent, from letting a few details about the upcoming film slip.
So the big news so far this week is that Michael Shannon has been cast as General Zod in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, The Man of Steel. And now, RiverRun International Film Festival has released a video interview with the actor who reveals his thoughts on Zod, the Christopher Reeve superman films, Snyder’s reboot storyline, and more.
