After the amazing Super Bowl spot we got for The Last Airbender, I’m not surprised that a theatrical trailer has just been released. Over at Yahoo, they’ve debuted a new trailer for the M. Night Shyamalan live action adaptation, and it looks amazing. The TV spot was just a warm up for what looks like a great film.

Another Super Bowl ad has debuted online and this time it’s from the highly anticipated M. Night Shyamalan adaptation of The Last Airbender. The film is based on the popular Nickelodeon series of the same name that centered on a 12 year old boy battling to save the world. The TV spot shows a lot more action and footage than what we saw in the teaser trailer and it looks amazing…

Who is excited to see the full length trailer for M Night. Shyamalan’s adaptation of The Last Airbender? Anyone? Someone must be. I still have flashbacks of The Lady in the Water and The Happening. They were traumatizing but I’m trying to put them behind me.
For all my rude comments about his films, the first teaser trailer did look interesting, but then again, we all know that Shyamalan can set up a good shot, it’s that whole plot thing that gets in his way.

M. Night Shyamalan‘s The Last Airbender has plenty of hype surrounding it due to it’s die hard Nickelodeon fan base, and the newbies who’ve just discovered the trailer. Either way the director and producers know that something amazing can be done with this story, so it’s no surprise that Shyamalan intends on turning The Last Airbender into a trilogy. Many reports suggested that after it’s 2010 debut, the next two installments would be filmed back to back, but according to Starlog that’s not the case.

Five posters from some of the most anticipated films of this year and beyond have just popped up online. The images featured are for Iron Man 2, The Last Airbender, Shutter Island, The Lovely Bones, and Up in the Air. All the films promoted are Paramount releases and star some pretty big names, such as George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Robert Downey, Jr. Some of these aren’t that amazing, but I do love the one sheet for Shutter Island. If you think think the cropped photo above is intense, check out the full sized one after the jump.
