Another promo has been released for the new Fox show “Terra Nova.” The first footage from the series was revealed in a TV spot during this year’s Super Bowl. At the time, we were underwhelmed by what we saw. It looked like an extremely dated version of Jurassic Park (the movie still holds up!) mixed with some Avatar creatures. Since our first exposure to “Terra Nova” was such a negative one, we were hoping that this would turn the tide but it didn’t.

One of the few television shows to earn an ad spot during this year’s Super Bowl was “Terra Nova.” This shouldn’t come as a surprise considering it’s a Fox series and it’s executive produced by Steven Spielberg. We haven’t seen or heard much from the show with the exception of a few photos here and there, and last night was the first time any footage was shown. Over the past year we’ve been hearing about a new, sci-fi series from Steven Spielberg called “Terra Nova.” With the exception of the plot synopsis and a few casting briefs here and there we had no idea what to expect from the show. Contrary to popular belief Isabel Lucas and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley weren’t the first blonds to be featured in the Transformers franchise. Back in 2007, Australian actress Rachael Taylor wore a power suit and heels in the first film. Since then we haven’t seen her in anything nearly as high profile but she’s landed a gig on the small screen that might jog our memories. According to EW, she has a new role on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy.”

We’re not surprised that Steven Spielberg’s latest television endeavor “Terra Nova” has been pushed back. The series has been one of the most talked about projects this year but it’s been hit with a string of bad luck. When the initial schedule for Fox’s fall 2010 line up was announced it was M.I.A, but expected to debut sometime during mid-season. Then it was pulled from Comic-Con because the show hadn’t gone into production yet and there was no footage. So who’s really shocked by this latest scheduling change?

What’s up with this year’s Comic-Con? Panels seem to be dropping left and right! Just yesterday we learned that the presentation for the campy horror film Piranha 3-D had been canceled due to its graphic content and now this. According to THR, the highly anticipated Steven Spielberg series “Terra Nova” has dropped out of the line up. Let the riots begin!
