Disney has premiered the first trailer for their upcoming animated feature, Tangled. Back in March they released a snippet of footage from the film that gave us nothing in terms of its story or characters so we’re excited about this debut. The film was previously entitled Rapunzel but a couple of months ago they changed it for unknown reasons. Update: The full teaser trailer for Tangled in now available.
An early teaser trailer has been released for Disney’s upcoming animated film, Tangled. It’s the movie formerly known as Rapunzel and stars Mandy Moore as the blond haired girl trapped in an ivory tower. The teaser for the film is literally 30 seconds and features more voice over than actual footage, but at least that’s something. Check it out…

Disney has decided to rename their upcoming animated adaptation of Rapunzel, which will now go by the name Tangled. If you’re an avid fan of the fable, you’re probably asking yourself what the hell’s their problem? One of the film’s producers Roy Conli just posted an official statement regarding the change that has many of us scratching our heads.
