For the past month or so Christopher Nolan, Jonah Nolan, and David S. Goyer have all been in the news regarding their connection to the upcoming reboot of the Superman franchise. So far we know that the Batman director will be on board as a producer of The Man of Steel, but we haven’t really heard his outlook on the whole thing.
We’ve got some tidbits from secondary sources, but nothing straight from the horses mouth. The folks over at the LA Times managed to corner the senor Nolan to ask him about Supe, as well as his third installment of the Batman franchise.

On top of that we also heard that Greg Berlanti might be in talks to direct the big screen adaptation of The Flash, so what could top those three movies? How about the Justice League of America?

Where does David S. Goyer find the time to take on all these superhero projects with his busy schedule? The writer, producer, and director has been named as the man behind the next big screen Superman adaptation. The DC Comics film franchise has been on life support since 2006 but according to an exclusive report over at Latino Review, Goyer has been tapped to bring the hero back to life.

Christopher Nolan has become the go to guy to restore comic book franchises. Over at Deadline Hollywood, they’re reporting that the director has been tapped to mentor the upcoming Superman reboot. The last film in the series was Superman Returns, which was released in 2006 and helmed by Bryan Singer. Warner Bros have enlisted Nolan to work his magic and bring Supe back to his former glory.

If you’re a die hard Superman fan this article is for you. There has been much talk about rebooting the Man of Steel franchise to compensate for the mediocre response of its last film. Some even speculated that the studio would angle for a darker Superman movie, that could follow in the footsteps of The Dark Knight and Watchmen. According to MTV, you can chalk all that up to speculation because there are no plans to revamp the character anytime in the near future.

I’m happy someone else has decided to state the obvious. Superman for lack of a better word needs to “man up.” James McTeigue, the director of the upcoming Ninja Assassin spoke to MTV about the need for a darker Man of Steel to hit theaters. McTeigue is one of the many rumored successors to the DC film franchise, and he discussed where he thinks the character should go next.

Warner Bros. and DC Comics have won a case filed by the heirs of Superman co-creator Jerome Siegel, says Variety.
Siegel estate accused Warner Bros. of making “sweetheart deals” with DC Comics because the license fees paid by the studio to DC had been done below the fair market value, but on Wednesday U.S. District Court Judge Stephen G. Larsen ruled on Warner Bros. favor making it clear that no “sweetheart” deals were made. This means that the heirs will be able to seek profits from DC only, and not from Warner Bros.
