In case you hadn’t heard, Lindsay Lohan brought her troubled reputation and apparent Robery Z’Dar head transplant (seriously, whatever she’s done to double the size of her face has aged Lohan about 20 years) to Saturday Night Live over the weekend, which all part of the Public Persona Rehabilitation process (she already posed in Playboy, so this is the next natural move). And, perhaps because a hungry nation was watching to see if Lohan’s head would explode (either from stress or radical surgery), she scored SNL’s second-highest numbers of the season.

Well, you’ve got to give it to him—Alec Baldwin might be an entitled jerk prone to highly public temper tantrums, but he’s a funny and charming entitled jerk prone to highly public temper tantrums. In case you didn’t catch it last week, Baldwin was booted from an American Airlines flight because he refused to turn off his electronic device upon which he was playing Words With Friends. He then slammed a bathroom door in anger so hard that it reverberated in the cockpit, alerting the captain, who then ordered that Baldwin be removed from the plane before takeoff. Baldwin’s response? Make fun of the captain, and his airline, on Saturday Night Live.
In September, Alec Baldwin is going to do one of the things he does best, host “Saturday Night Life.” The show will return for its 37th season on the 24th of that month, and the “30 Rock” star will host for the 16th time, making him SNL‘s top host. He’s the SNL cast member that never was.
If you thought Jessica Alba was a hot pregnant mom, get a hold of this – this weekend SNL’s host Scarlett Johansson appeared on SNL for a “My Super Sweet 16 and Pregnant” skit which a parodied the shows “My Super Sweet 16″ and “16 and Pregnant.” In the skit, Johansson flaunted a huge pregnant belly while wearing a super short-and-sexy red dress and a huge tiara while delivering the line, “I’m rich. I’m beautiful and I’m fully dilated,” said Johansson.
Aw, to be rich, beautiful and fully dilated. Let’s MTV doesn’t get any ideas now…

NBC’s long running sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live” might get a breath of fresh air when The Hangover’sZach Galifianakis stops by. According to Zap2it, he’ll be on board to make his hosting debut on an upcoming episode of the show. He may be new to the game but we’ve also learned that Jude Law will be making a return to the SNL stage for a second time.
This past weekend something amazing hit the small screen and it came from Saturday Night Live. It’s been a long time since the show has produced a digital short that could make you cry from laughter, but they’ve managed to do so. Country singer Taylor Swift was recently the host and musical guest for the show and pulled off one of the best Twilight spoof’s known to man. It features Swift as Bella, and let’s just say upfront she does a better job in this two minute piece than Kristen Stewart does in the entire franchise.

This weekend will mark the beginning of a new season for the longstanding sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. While I haven’t been enthralled by the series for quite a few years, producer Lorne Michaels still manages to book some of the hottest actors and performers to appear on the show. His choice for the season opener could be considered suspect, since the actor in question is Megan Fox.
Fox isn’t exactly known for her talent, so how will she handle scripted comedy in a live format? Do you plan on watching SNL this Saturday out of curiosity or pity? Take our official poll and tell us how you really feel about the “actress.”
Last month we reported on an untitled SNL infused comedy that features a who’s who of comedic actors. As of today that roster just got a whole lot prettier. According to Variety, Academy Award nominated actress Salma Hayek has signed on to co-star in the film. Hayek will join Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Kevin James and Rob Schneider in the feature that will be directed by Dennis Dugan. As if there wasn’t already enough comedic talent in this film, two more Saturday Night Live veterans have joined the cast as well.
In case you missed it, Tina Fey does it again! Yup, Tina returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend as Governor Palin. The skit was a spoof of the debates, also starring Queen Latifah as Moderator Gwen Ifill and Jason Sudeikis (The Office) as Senator Joe Biden. When asked by Queen Latifah about her take on same-sex benefits, Fey’s Palin said, “I believe marriage is meant to be a sacred institution between two unwilling teenagers.” Ha.
