- During a press junket, promoting her new movie My Bloody Valentine: 3-D, actress Jamie King gave an update on the status of Sin City 2. According to her, Frank Miller has just completed the script, and she’s hopeful that shooting will begin this year. [Latino Review]
- Australian actress Teresa Palmer (The Grudge 2, Bedtime Stories) has been cast in The Sorcerers Apprentice. She”ll co-star alongside Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel in the fantasy film, based on the Mickey Mouse story from the Disney classic, Fantasia. [Cinematical]

Clive Owen’s back! It’s been a while since we’ve seen the brooding actor in reputable leading role (Shoot’em Up), but I knew he would return with something good. According to THR, Owen has signed on to star in Cartagena. Its a film about an undercover agent who delves into the world of Colombian drug trafficking. Cartagena will be co-produced by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, whom previously served as executive producer to George Clooney’s Oscar winning vehicle, Good Night, and Good Luck.

Graphic novel legend, writer, and director Frank Miller may be bringing his interpretation of the campy comic serial Buck Rogers to the big screen. According to THR, Miller and Odd Lot Entertainment are nearing a deal to bring Buck Rogers into the 21 century.

While out promoting his latest project The Wrestler, Mickey Rourke spoke to ComingSoon.net about reprising his role as Marv in Sin City 2. In the past, Rourke has stated that he was ready and willing to be a part of the Robert Rodriguez, Frank Miller sequel. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. Rourke has changed his tune, and is not interested in returning to the role.
