Amy Adams will star in 20th Century Fox’s adaptation of Adena Halpern‘s novel “The Ten Best Days of My Life.” Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum) is looking to direct the film and Amy Adams will produce the film with Tim McNulty of 21 Laps.

Levy has said, “I’ve known Adena for over a decade, and there is Amy, reading her book on set,” Levy said. “I told her I knew the writer, she said she was loving the book, and I asked her if we should try to do this together…There is a father-daughter dynamic at the heart of the character’s redemption, and as the father of three girls, that resonated strongly for me.”
