After the hoopla surrounding Tuesday’s Golden Globe nominations, it’s time for the actors to finally have their say. The nominees have been announced for the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards and the the majority of the picks fall in line with what we’ve already seen thus far. The only major difference is that Jeremy Renner was actually recognized for his awesome portrayal in The Hurt Locker.

Over the past week or so it’s been awards central with various critic groups naming their top films and performances of 2009. They were followed by the Golden Globes, and now we’ve got the Screen Actor’s Guild following suit. The ceremony is from the actors, for the actors who are celebrating the work of their peers.
