We talked to him about these two projects, his work on Edgar Wright‘s Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, and his working style.  Check it out…

ramona knives8 11 10 Interview: Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ellen Wong for Scott Pilgrim

This weekend Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World hits theaters with two bad-ass, weapons wielding, beautiful ladies and not too long ago we were lucky enough to sit down with Mary Elizabeth Winstead who plays Ramona Flowers and Ellen Wong who plays Knives Chau and talk to them about making miracles happen (aka a great film). Both actresses are somewhat unknown, but not for long. Both of them turn out amazing performances and add the much needed heart and depth to the film while still kicking ass.

Check out our interview with them below (and after check out our interviews with Edgar Wright, Anna Kendrick, Michael Cera and Jason Schwartzman)…

edgar wright8 3 10 Interview: Edgar Wright for Scott Pilgrim

It’s finally time for Edgar Wright‘s upcoming extraordinary comic-book adaptation of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World to hit theaters this weekend! Not long ago we sat down to a roundtable with Wright to talk about how he managed to talk all the many parts that make Scott Pilgrim so phenomenal and put them together in such a unique, and yet easy and fun to watch film (we already published our Ant-Man news if you’re looking for that).

Find out everything from casting to why he never sits down on set despite the long, hard shoots in our interview with him below…

cera schwartzman8 2 10 Interview: Michael Cera and Jason Schwartzman for Scott Pilgrim

I think Michael Cera described this film perfectly during our interview when he said it’s “Like taking a people bath. Taking a youcuzi.” I still don’t know what that means exactly, but I like it! Both Cera and Jason Schwartzman, despite the fact that they had just got back from Comic-Con and had already done about 5 hours of press for their upcoming release Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, were in great spirits during the interview and at times seemed more interested in entertaining the group of journalist than answering questions (I am the one who in fact had to tell Cera “No!” at one point).

Check our interview with Cera and Schwartzman for their upcoming film Scott Pilgrim below and after check out our 1-1 with Anna Kendrick who plays Scott’s sister and the director of the film Edgar Wright

anna kendrick8 8 10 1 1 Interview: Anna Kendrick for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

This week, Edgar Wright‘s extraordinary comic-book adaptation, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World will finally be in theaters. The film stars Michael Cera (check out our interview with him as well!) and has an extraordinary supporting cast which includes the Academy Award nominated actress, who broke out last year and keeps coming back with more, Anna Kendrick. I had the chance to speak with Anna over the phone about working with Wright on making this film.

Find out what it was like working with Wright, why Keiran Culkin is an asshole “in the best way” and more below…

marvellogos Marvels Avengers Logo, Plus Scott Pilgrim vs The World

Sometimes I have to pinch myself when it comes to all the live action films that Marvel will be producing in the next three years. They’re shoveling out Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America, which will all lead up to the Avengers movie in 2012. In this case it seems like a lot to take in and seeing is believing, so over at AICN they’ve published some photos that will give us our first glimpse of the film’s image campaign.

Check out the gallery after the jump.

pilgrimmeg Scott Pilgrim Same Story Different Ending?

Director Edgar Wright has been hard at work on his live action adaptation of the graphic novel Scott Pilgrim vs The World. He’s released several production photos from the film over the past few months, and it looks as if he’s following the visual style of the book. Everything from the costumes to the sets are replicated with precision, but as with any adaptation the writer and director sometimes decide to change a few things. In the case of Scott Pilgrim it may be the ending.
