At the stroke of midnight this morning Saw VI began running in theaters across the country serving up it’s annual gore and terror. The franchise has become somewhat of a staple during the Halloween season, and is known for pushing the envelope. The film is rated R for obvious reasons, but according to Reuters, over in Spain they took it a step further and gave it a big, fat “X.”
A teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming film, Saw VI and it proves that the franchise should have stopped a long time ago. For the past few months we’ve been keeping you updated with various posters and photos from the movie, and now we’ve got some live action footage to show you.

It’s just not professional to start an article with “ahhhhhh,” so I won’t degrade myself to that level, even though it’s how I honestly feel. Over at BloodyDisgusting, they’ve posted an exclusive photo of Shawnee Smith aka Amanda in Saw VI. After seeing the first few installments of the Saw series, I was under the impression that she bit the dust a while ago. But somehow she’s back for more.

Over the past few weeks we’ve posted several theatrical posters promoting the upcoming sequel, Saw VI. We’ve gotten a hold of the first production photo from the film, and in typical Saw fashion it takes us to a very dark place. The following photo features the traditional elements of bondage, torture, and metal.
I’m sure it sounds like an uncomfortable situation, but if you’re into that sort of thing…
The posters for Saw VI are really starting to get out of hand. I understand that the movies themselves are grotesque, but do the posters have to be as extreme? Another photo promoting the film has been released and as usual it hurts my eyes. Going off of the above image you might think the latest one sheet is clean, and straight to the point. The Saw posters are starting to become almost as gross as the films themselves. Two new photos have been released in promotion of the latest installment Saw VI, and quite frankly they hurt my eyes. Over at MTV, they’ve posted them and it appears they come attached with a good cause, a blood drive. Even though it’s a noble sentiment, I’m going to have to pass, since I will also pass on this film. If you want to see the two new posters you can view them in all their glory below.
