Let me preface this article by saying one thing, “the viral marketing campaign for Terminator: Salvation scares me.” Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I can tell you about the latest development in Terminator land.  According to FirstShowing.net the film’s latest marketing promotion introduces the “Skynet Security System.” It looks as if this campaign is connected to different comic book stores across the U.S. to promote both the film and their businesses. Isn’t this the news that all die hard Terminator fans have been waiting for? The one and only Linda Hamilton aka Sarah Connor has given us hope that she may appear in this summer’s Terminator: Salvation. According to MTV Hamilton has confirmed talks between her and the films producers. As we all know, Hamilton declined to appear in the last Terminator, Rise of the Machines because she wasn’t a fan of how her character was written.

“They offered me a part,” she said. “I read it and I knew my character arc was so complete in the first two, and in the third one it was a negligible character. She died halfway through and there was no time to mourn her. It was kind of disposable, so I said no thank you.”
