It’s hard to believe that the majority of the summer’s most talked about releases are already hitting DVD shelves. Sacha Baron Cohen‘s latest character driven venture Bruno, hit domestic theaters back in July and the marketing for its home release is already in full swing. One of the many extras that will be featured on the Bruno DVD is an awkward extended scene with baseball legend, Pete Rose.

Surprise, surprise someone else is pissed off at Sacha Baron Cohen for the way that they were portrayed in his film Bruno… why is this news, because it’s a terrorist leader. Or so we think. According to Cohen, apparently terrorists are hard to find!
WND is reporting that the man called a terrorist in the film, Ayman Abu Aita, served in the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades from 2000 until 2003, but was reformed after two years in an Israeli prison for an accusation that he was involved in a shooting. Aita is now offended by Bruno and is saying that he was lied to…
“[Baron Cohen] said this was a film going to help the Palestinian cause,” Aita told WND. “When I heard (four days ago) what this film was about I really didn’t believe it.”

Bruno has waited long enough to make his debut on the big screen — the time has come for Sacha Baron Cohen‘s Bruno to take over the box office.
With Transformers going on its third week — the robot-hype is finally settling down, there shouldn’t be too much competition from the film. Ice Age on the other hand is still going strong in theaters and it will definitely be attracting all of those who think that Bruno is too offensive. Yet, odds are that Bruno’s dramatic premiere entrances, outrages photos and even his stunt with Eminem at the MTV Movie Awards, will surely get him a number one spot.

You’ve seen the poster, the dramatic premiere entrances, the photos, the red band trailer, him falling on Eminem’s face and all too much of Sacha Baron Cohen’s ass, now it’s time for the real deal. It’s time for Brüno. Here is what you need to know:
- Is this movie offensive, YES.
- Is it jaw-droppingly hilarious, YES.
- Does he use the same plot as in Borat, YES.
- Are his gags getting old, NO.
Just like the first time when you saw Borat, you will be in complete and utter dismay at what you see in front of you. It doesn’t feel re-hashed, it delivers everything you could want from an offensive comedy.

What do Michael Jackson and the movie, Brüno, have in common? Well, Brüno premiered in LA on the same day the legendary pop star passed away, and there happened to be a few Jackson-related jokes in the film. In response to Jackson’s untimely death, the executives at Universal quickly decided to delete the scene from the premiere out of respect to the family. Brüno ist coming to Hollywood tonight for his big red carpet premiere. Finally all of his dreams will come true! Knowing Sacha Baron Cohen, I mean Brüno, this will be a red carpet like no other. For those of you who don’t know, Cohen always down all his promotions for a films in character. Which means all interviews and appearance are part of the show.

Do you need something to brighten your day? How about the new one sheet for Sacha Baron Cohen’s upcoming comedy, Bruno. The film is based on one of the many controversial characters in Cohen’s arsenal. We previously brought you the redband trailer and several risque photos promoting the film. It’s only natural that we’d throw something else onto the pile! For this poster I think the yellow overalls speak volumes. Bruno hits theaters on July 10 of this year and yep, it’s gonna be rated R.I can’t keep you in suspense any longer. I’m sure you can imagine what’s waiting for you below.
