Last week we had talking robots saving the earth, now it’s time for talking animals, Kevin James and Adam Sandler style. Zookeeper is the story of a zookeeper who gets dumped for being, well, a zookeeper. He might be in love and out of luck with the girl of his dreams, but he’s great at his job and more importantly, the animals love him. The premise might not seem so enticing, but behind this wacky story there’s a voice cast of A-list comedians. Let’s see if they were able to make this live-action comedy work…

Last week we spoke with Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson and director Tony Scott about their upcoming, non-stop, action-thrill-ride, Unstoppable. This commences the fifth time that Washington and Scott have joined forces to create a movie together. It seems like as long as you have these two together, add a few explosions, a chase scene, a sexy lady (dressed to make her look like a “regular girl” – tip boys, Rosario Dawson will NEVER look average), and you are in fact unstoppable at the box office! Throw in a sexy new-comer and you’ve got it made.

The first trailer for Tony Scott and Denzel Washington’s umpteenth collaboration has been released and it’s called Man on Fire, we mean The Taking of Pelham 123, no we mean Unstoppable. Yes, it’s Unstoppable and it co-stars Chris Pine. It’s one of those movies where the older, more experienced character has to take the young buck under their wing to show them the way. A while back we brought you a small teaser trailer for the upcoming fantasy adaptation of Percy and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. The new trailer makes its debut on the recently released X-Men Origins: Wolverine DVD, which hit shelves this past Tuesday.
The film centers on “Poseidon’s son, a 12-year-old boy, who sets out on a quest in present-day America to rescue his mother, return Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt and prevent a civil war from erupting among the gods.” The film is brought to you from the people behind Harry Potter so get ready for some phantasmic fun.

Oh no Kevin James is making another comedy, and I use the word comedy loosely. According to RopeofSilicon, James will star in a new film entitled, The Zookeeper. After the unexplained success of Paul Blart: Mall Cop, the actor will star in his latest project alongside Rosario Dawson and Leslie Bibb. The premise for it is pretty ridiculous, but I would expect nothing more from the guy.
