While out promoting this weekend’s A Christmas Carol, director Robert Zemeckis spoke to MTV about the long awaited sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The original film that starred Bob Hoskins, Christopher Lloyd, and the voice of Kathleen Turner over 20 years ago was an animated/live action sensation for the director who plans on pushing the envelope once again for the follow up.

If you were a fan of Beowulf or are awaiting the Robert Zemeckis take on A Christmas Carol, this next next film might be the one for you. According to Variety, screenwriter Anne Peacock will write the feature adaptation of the novel, Airman. Zemeckis will be producing the project through his ImageMovers company, which is known for creating 3-D, motion capture films.

Disney has released another trailer for the Robert Zemekis adaptation of A Christmas Carol. The film stars Jim Carrey as the voice and digital image of the story’s villain, Ebenezer Scrooge. The film has all the traditional imagery that you would expect from the Charles Dickens’ classic, but with a layer of 3-D graphics. The second full length trailer is a bit more upbeat than the teaser we showed you a few weeks ago. It’s still slightly depressing, but not as much.

The final poster for Disney and Robert Zemeckis‘ A Christmas Carol has been released. Over at Cinematical they have an exclusive sneak peek at the latest one-sheet promoting the film. A Christmas Carol hits theaters on November 6th, and will be a 3-D event that you won’t want to miss. The following poster shows star Jim Carrey taking flight as his character Ebenezer Scrooge.

The official teaser trailer has been released for Robert Zemeckis and Disney Studios’ A Christmas Carol. The film is a 3-D animated feature that stars Jim Carrey as the holiday icon, Ebenezer Scrooge. His performance was rendered using lots of fancy film techniques including motion capture. A lot of the footage featured in the trailer was shown at this year’s Comic-Con, but with a few improvements.

The film is best known for its psychedelic visuals and classic soundtrack infused with original songs from The Beatles. Disney is pulling out all the stops for Comic-Con this year! Animation greats Hayao Miyazaki and John Lasseter and directors Robert Zemeckis and Tim Burton will all be taking part for the first time ever in Comic-Con, showing that the event is about more than just comic books. You can see your favorite animators and directors at the San Diego Convention Center July 23-24. If you won’e be able to make the event we’ll be live blogging it and trust me, we’re not missing any of these!
