tf2labeoufbay Michael Bay Wants Less Action in Transformers 3

After watching the visual cancer that was Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, it’s easy to wonder where it all went wrong. The first film was pretty decent, and had the central story of a boy and his car, the sequel centered on…what? That’s the question a lot of people left the theater wondering, what was it all about? Director Michael Bay must have taken the complaints to heart, because in the third film he wants less action and more story.

Picture 15 Optimus Prime Reads Lettermans Top Ten!

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen has already surpassed the 500 million dollar mark in worldwide ticket sales, so why can’t the cheesy promotions subside just a tad? I came across a video featuring the most famous autobot of them all Optimus Prime doing some comedy shtick on last night’s The David Letterman Show. He recited the daily top ten list, which was conveniently entitled “Top Ten Things That Sound Cool When Spoken By A Giant Robot.”

If the numbers prove anything, it’s that within the past week a LOT of people went out to see Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. All of the buzz hasn’t exactly been positive, but if there’s one thing we can all agree on it’s the robotic stars of the film. Some familiar faces return for the sequel, and a few new ones make their debut including the old school, Jetfire (above). If you’ve heard rumors of a geriatric transformer, who uses a cane and speaks with a British-Australian accent here he is!

When pushed to his limit, he enlists the aid of his trusted protector Bumblebee to kick some robotic butt.
