Yep, that’s Daniel Craig, and Empire is reporting that this is the first official picture of James Bond in Skyfall, the 23rd film in the franchise. The film is due out November 9 later this year, and shooting is underway, so there’s plenty of time to speculate what madness Bond gets into in this adventure. The film is being directed by Sam Mendes and also stars Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, and Javier Bardem.

What happens when a film makes money but nobody likes it? You get a sequel anyway. Sam Worthington, star of Avatar - and still a charisma question mark – returns as Perseus to fight more monsters and romance Rosamund Pike, while scores of great English actors (Ralph Fiennes, Bill Nighy, Lian Neesson) play other gods. It couldn’t be as sloppily post converted as the last one, right? We’ll know for sure March 30, 2012, when the film opens. Until then, check out the trailer…

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the long awaited finale is finally here, and though fans will be able to cheer along to the film, my biggest problem is that they won’t really be able to cry. It’s hard not to like this film on some levels because even though it would never stand alone and won’t be the film we all remember from the series, it’s the finale! As always there’s plenty of fine acting, another special effects Oscar win for them lined up, and our lovable characters, BUT it’s all turned into a bit of a Soap Opera and for the end of something SO grand, the film never really makes the decisions to emotionally or tonally go HUGE which was needed in order for it to truly succeed.

Over the past year Liam Neeson has made some questionable career choices, with his most recent being Battleship. Now according to ComingSoon, we can expect to see him again in another glossy, action film, Clash of the Titans 2. The actor will reprise his role as Zeus in the 3D sequel and he’ll be joined by Ralph Fiennes who played his evil brother Hades in the first film.

Production began on the film early last spring and includes the acting talents of Gerard Butler, William Hurt, and Vanessa Redgrave. Ralph Fiennes directorial debut, if nothing else, is going to be interesting—the actor will be helming as well as starring in Coriolanus, a modern-day update of Shakespeare’s play of the same the name. Barry Ackroyd, cinematographer for both The Hurt Locker and Green Zone, will be lensing the adaptation, which originally centered on “a Roman general who attacked Rome after being exiled from the city.”

The film is a remake of the 1981 Desmond Davis classic that hammers out all the stiff, campy elements we loved to make a gritty hard-hitting epic. The lead character doesn’t have any boyish charm or feathery hair, instead Sam Worthington takes over as Perseus the demigod son of Zeus, the only one who can stop Hades and his pet the Kraken from destroying mankind.
