Could it be true that the man who brought us such sci-fi/ horror films as Doomsday and The Descent is taking on Predators? Predators is the reboot of the 1980′s franchise that featured Arnold Schwarzenegger and every other athlete turned actor during that decade. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought that Robert Rodriguez would be directing the updated version, but he’s not and it appears that Neil Marshall is.

More Predator news has come our way, and it’s pretty juicy! We all knew that Robert Rodriguez was producing the reboot of the popular sci-fi franchise. But, what we didn’t know is that he will also direct the feature. There has been confirmation that he will helm the updated film, which he plans on calling Predators. According to IESB, Rodriguez spoke about Predators, and several of other upcoming films at a press conference he gave at his Troublemaker Studios.
