Hollywood is full of successful actors and actresses who’ve made a steady living off of their “craft,” and by craft I mean the ability to bullshit their way into films. Earlier today we posted the first teaser poster for the upcoming action film, Takers. To be completely honest, it looked horrible. My reaction wasn’t unwarranted, and plenty of our readers felt the same way, but one of them brought something to my attention. An official trailer for Takers has just been released, and it actually gives us the opportunity to see what this ragtag team of actors are trying to do. After looking at the poster for the upcoming action film, Takers I’m convinced that someone should be fired. Takers is a heist movie that centers on a group of thieves who plan to pull off one last bank robbery before giving up their criminal lifestyle. Takers stars Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen, Michael Ealy, and Matt Dillion.

The success of Fast & Furious has invigorated the careers of it stars just as the original did eight years ago. First, Vin Diesel signed on to star in the video game adaptation The Wheelman, and now Paul Walker is ready to tackle his next project. According to THR, Walker is in talks to star in the action drama Protection. No, the movie isn’t about condoms but it is about a familiar subject that we know all too well, vigilante justice! Due to the unexpected success of Liam Neeson’s Taken, Protection has become one of the many films that is trying to copy it’s winning formula.
