Shaky-cam connoisseur Paul Greengrass has a new gig to follow his here today gone tomorrow Iraq war film, Green Zone. The movie didn’t fair that well at the box office when it opened a few weeks ago, so the director is ready to shift creative gears. According to THR, he’s in talks to direct the big screen remake of the 1966 film, Fantastic Voyage.

We just got six new clips for Paul Greengrass’ film, Green Zone starring Matt Damon as a slightly more realistic version of his Jason Bourne character… but not that much more realistic. Once again he’s a military agent with the special ability to out smart the people he works for and kick their asses when necessary. Luckily these clips do show that there is a bit of difference between Green Zone and the Bourne series. For one, Damon’s character Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller feels a bit more “all-American” than Jason Bourne and he says things like “get your game face on.”

Maybe I missed something, but this is the first I’ve heard of Green Zone. Matt Damon has teamed up again with Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum director Paul Greengrass in an action packed war thriller, about “a rogue U.S. Army officer who must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil before war escalates in an unstable region.” The film has a strong supporting cast including Greg Kinnear, Brendan Gleeson, Amy Ryan, Khalid Abdalla and Jason Isaacs.
You would have thought that we would have heard more about this by now. Oh well! It’s here now with a bang. Check out the first action packed trailer and some stills from the film below…

Matt Damon is one of my favorite actors so when I came across this story I just had to write something. According to Variety, Damon is set to star in an upcoming sci-fi, love story that will be directed by George Nolfi. I can’t remember Damon being in any sort of science fiction film before this, but there’s a first time for everything. The film is entitled, The Adjustment Bureau and is “loosely” based on a story by Philip K. Dick.

Well, when you make over $1 billion, no one wants to stop you. Universal Pictures has just made a deal with Robert Ludlum the author of the “The Bourne Identity” series, that will give the studio exclusive rights to the Jason Bourne character and first look at other Ludlum novels.
So let’s keep the goodness going, with star Bourne star Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass, who have signed on for a fourth film that George Nolfi is currently writing.
