We just got six new clips for Paul Greengrass’ film, Green Zone starring Matt Damon as a slightly more realistic version of his Jason Bourne character… but not that much more realistic. Once again he’s a military agent with the special ability to out smart the people he works for and kick their asses when necessary. Luckily these clips do show that there is a bit of difference between Green Zone and the Bourne series. For one, Damon’s character Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller feels a bit more “all-American” than Jason Bourne and he says things like “get your game face on.”

Maybe I missed something, but this is the first I’ve heard of Green Zone. Matt Damon has teamed up again with Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum director Paul Greengrass in an action packed war thriller, about “a rogue U.S. Army officer who must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil before war escalates in an unstable region.” The film has a strong supporting cast including Greg Kinnear, Brendan Gleeson, Amy Ryan, Khalid Abdalla and Jason Isaacs.

According to Variety, Damon is set to star in an upcoming sci-fi, love story that will be directed by George Nolfi. I can’t remember Damon being in any sort of science fiction film before this, but there’s a first time for everything. The film is entitled, The Adjustment Bureau and is “loosely” based on a story by Philip K. Dick.
