A lot of new info has been released regarding Disney’s long awaited sequel Tron Legacy, including several photos from the set. Over at Collider, they had the opportunity to check out the film shoot over in Vancouver and they brought back a couple of mementos. Just last week we learned that 007 himself, Daniel Craig would take over the lead role in the sci-fi western Cowboys & Aliens, and now he’s found his leading lady. According to THR, actress Olivia Wilde will star opposite the actor in the DreamWorks production that will be adapted from the comic of the same name.

The plot for Tron Legacy may not be as cryptic as Avatar’s but it’s pretty damn close. We know that Jeff Bridges will return as Kevin Flynn, and he’ll have an adult son played by Garrett Hedlund. Other than that we don’t know what he’s been up to or how they’ll interact, but thankfully an official synopsis and international poster has been released and it fills in some of the gaps.

Tron Legacy co-star Olivia Wilde has booked a new gig, and it’s with award winning director Paul Haggis. According to THR, Wilde has signed on to star in the upcoming thriller, The Next Three Days. The film is headlined by Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks, with Brian Dennehy, Ty Simpkins, and the RZA in supporting roles.

It’s here! The first casting announcement for the sequel to 1982’s Tron. According to THR, Olivia Wilde (House, The O.C.), and Beau Garrett (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Made of Honor) have both signed on to co-star in Tron 2.0, or TRZ, or whatever the hell you crazy kids are calling it these days.
