The Twilight Saga: New Moon could be the film that pushes Taylor Lautner out of Robert Pattinson‘s shadow and into the spotlight as the new franchise heartthrob. This weekend fans will get to see him in a different light when he goes from mild mannered Jacob to a raging werewolf. We recently spoke to Lautner about the drastic physical transformation he underwent for the film, as well as the developing love triangle between his character and Kristen Stewart‘s Bella. But most importantly, we had to ask him the age old question, who would win in a fight Jacob or Edward?

We really don’t mean for today to become a Twilight clusterf*uck, but New Moon is everywhere. We’ve just discovered that the film has broken Fandango’s record for the most presale tickers ever. According to ComingSoon, New Moon has managed to beat the likes of The Dark Knight, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince to take the advance ticket crown.

The stars of The Twilight Saga: New Moon are obviously Edward and Bella, so when we had the opportunity to speak to their portrayer’s Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, we wanted to know how they felt about stepping into their roles the second and third time around. New Moon and Eclipse were filmed closely together so the actors had to shift gears in terms of the story and their directors. They jumped from Chris Weitz to 30 Days of Night helmer David Slade, who seem like polar opposites in terms of vision.
Stewart and Pattinson spoke about the differences between the two films, the Edward/Bella/Jacob triangle, and most importantly when they’ll start production on Breaking Dawn.

We’ve been able to interview Kristen Stewart at a number of round tables and press conferences over the past year or so and until now, she’s always appeared to be painful uncomfortable, swaying in her chair, constantly brushing her hand through her hair, and speaking in incomplete sentences. At the press conference for New Moon, she sat strong and declared her new found comfort in saying what she believes despite her fear of crowds (and I’m guessing blood-sucking journalists)…
I think I’ve gotten a lot more comfortable with talking about myself and knowing that what you say people are really going to take into consideration and that always intimidated me so much that I minced every word that came out of my mouth. I couldn’t finish a sentence because I was so concerned about how it was going to sound. I didn’t want to come across insincere about something that I really love to do. So I realized that instead of refraining from saying I’ve put my heart and soul into this thing and I love it, that’s what I should’ve said instead of, like the really logical, over analytical reason why I love it. You just do…
For another solid 25 minutes or so, her answers were clear, she was obviously well prepped, and she looked on top of her game, that was until the last question (which was extremely relevant to anyone who has seen the movie) threw her back to her old ways….

***Update: Check out our Eclipse Video Interviews with Pattinson, Lautner, Stewart, Fanning, the writer of the films and MANY more, our Eclipse review, vote for your favorite trailer and as many Twilight videos of fans, the film, the cast, and more!”
Plenty of vampire-werewolf angst will be hitting the big screen later this month when The Twilight Saga: New Moon debuts in theaters across the country. The stories, penned by author Stephenie Meyer, have resonated with teen girls everywhere who affectionately call themselves, Twihards. This article is written from the perspective of someone who wasn’t familiar with the books, but decided to give the film a chance, and was thoroughly turned off by everything it had to offer.
The protagonist Bella Swan, isn’t a positive representation of what any young girl should aspire to be. She has no identity of her own and is under the constant influence of the male figures in her life. That type of nonchalant attitude towards her manipulation isn’t something that should be projected, especially to women in her age group who are starting to date for the first time.
Here’s the problem with Twilight…
