The Twilight Saga: New Moon photos have been coming out of the woodwork today. First, we got a look at Cameron Bright as Alec Volturi, and now we get to meet the rest of his clan. Official promo images have been released for Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, and Jamie Campbell-Bower from the film. I’m sure for any die hard fan these pics will be depressingly, delightful.

Word on the street has had Michael Sheen pegged as the villain in the upcoming Tron sequel for months, and Disney has finally sent out confirmation. According to IGN, the British actor has officially signed on to star as the bad guy in Tron Legacy opposite Jeff Bridges and Garrett Hedlund. Both Sheen and Disney broke the casting news via their Twitter accounts (which I find weird), and now it’s all over the net!

An image from the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon has been leaked online. It features the much talked about Volturi vampire clan, that will be led by Aro (Michael Sheen). Other characters include Jane (Dakota Fanning), Alec (Cameron Bright ), Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower), and Marcus (Christopher Heyerdahl). If this is a legit photo from Summit Entertainment, it seriously creeps me out! Michael Sheen looks similar to his character in the Underworld franchise, but Jane and Caius scare me the most. Alec just looks like any other Emo kid at your local high school, I’ve seen worse.

What do you think of the Volturi clan from New Moon?

Does British actor Michael Sheen love to play classic, epic, or larger than life characters all the time because as of late I’ve been getting a lot of that from him. To follow up his role as Aro in New Moon this fall, Sheen may be appearing in the next James Bond film. According to MTV the actor may star as a famed villain who’s already popped up in several Bond installments, Ernst Stavro Blofeld!

Do you see any physical resemblance between Bill Clinton and Dennis Quaid? I don’t, but the executives at HBO do. According to Variety, Quaid will star as Clinton in a TV special for the cable network. The film is entitled A Special Relationship and will cover “the unique and sometimes turbulent political relationship between the newly installed PM and the U.S. president.” By PM they mean the British Prime Minister Tony Blair who will be played by Michael Sheen (no surprise there).

Check out a new clip from The Damned United where Michael Sheen plays legendary football manager Brian Clough, who was known for his drive, hard work and his ability to piss nearly anyone off. Clough was the manager for for Leeds United in the 1970′s for a grand total of 44 days. While he was there he won a lot of games but lost a lot battles and friends along the way.
Check out the clip on Empire for a good example for why this probably happened, as Clough tries to tell the Chairman, Sam Longson (Jim Broadbent) that he is more important than ANYONE else.

Michael Sheen has transformed himself yet again into another historical figure in Damned United. Sheen sure has carved out his niche. This time he’ll be portraying legendary football (soccer) manager Brian Clough who was in charge of Leeds United in 1974 for 44 days. The film also stars Jim Broadbent as Clough’s belligerent Derby chairman Sam Longson, Timothy Spall as long-time assistant Peter Taylor and Colm Meaney as his Leeds’ predecessor Don Revie.
All I can say is that I know very little about football, but this film looks amazing. Check out the trailer below…

Hollywood Reporter states that Jack Black will be playing the role of Matt Damon in a live-action Bourne Indentity spin off by Kung Fu Panda writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger. In the film, Black washes up on a dessert Island and somehow believes he was a spy. Could be funny?
Danielle Panabaker (Sky High, Mr. Brooks) will star in Chuck Russell’s upcoming sci-fi action film called Prodigy about an elite prep school. The story is based on Dave Kalstein’s book, about students becoming geniuses with the help of drugs and diets. Sounds like fun! Sounds a bit Cruel Intentions-ish, but I’m sure it’s got it’s own thing going. Afterall, kids and drugs, what’s not to love?
