In celebration of his latest film, Capitalism: A Love Story, Michael Moore himself is inviting the jobless and homeless to a free screening of his new documentary in America’s hardest hit cities Baltimore, Tampa, Fresno, Peoria and many more. He has also set up benefit screenings in surrounding cities to help raise money for communities in need.
I’m not sure exactly how you have to prove that you are jobless or homeless, but I’m sure it won’t be to big of a problem.

Overture just premiered the poster for Michael Moore’s new documentary, Capitalism: A Love Story, on Fandango. The poster is very old school, everything from the graphics and background colors are reminiscent of the Hitchcock’s era. I wonder what more could be referring to? Possibly the backwards movement of America? Or the birth of Capitalism with the American dream? Or just that we’re about to see a real life horror film?
Check out the new posters and the comparison to some older posters below…

Every couple of years Michael Moore comes out with a brilliantly slanted documentary about a government institution taking advantage of the average Joe. In Capitalism: A Love Story, he chooses to focus on money, money, and more money. A new trailer has debuted through CNN of all places, and it brings back all my memories of Sicko and Bowling for Columbine in one fowl swoop. You can view the new theatrical trailer for Capitalism: A Love Story below.

It’s that time again. Every few years or so we get a strongly angled documentary from Oscar winner Michael Moore. Even though some people hate the guy and complain about his premeditated agenda, I think he makes good movies. His film making skills plus the fact that he is a fellow Michigan native like myself, forces me to give him the benefit of the doubt. The last film Moore directed was 2007’s Sicko, and according to /Film he’s looking to follow that up with a feature that will focus on the current economic crisis.
