MGM can add another causality to their list of delayed if not canceled films. The Hobbit still hasn’t been green lit, James Bond has been put on hold indefinitely, and Joss Whedon said that if Bond is getting that kind of treatment he has no idea when his flick Cabin in the Woods will hit theaters. Now according to a report from Moviehole, the developing Robocop remake in no more. The film that Darren Aronofsky was attached to direct is now, dead.

The headline to this story might seem a bit harsh but it’s straight to the point and honest. Over the past year, we (as in fans and journalists) have been patiently waiting for some type of sign that the James Bond franchise would continue despite the financial situation of its studio, MGM.
