Just last week, we wrote about how Megan Fox was once again approached to play Lara Croft in the rebooted Tomb Raider franchise and declined. Now we’re hearing that the actress has been offered the title role in the long developing Red Sonja remake. Yeah, the role that Rose McGowan was previously attached to play might go to the brunette starlet instead.
The people behind the upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise are persistent. There have been rumors circulating for over a year regarding their interest in Transformers star Megan Fox to take on the film’s title character, but the actress adamantly denies any interest on her part to star. Do you think that stopped producers from putting out another offer? Nope!
Passion Play, written and directed by Mitch Glazer stars the always lovely Megan Fox and unpredictable Mickey Rourke. Here is the first look at the photo released of the stars. According to slashfilm.com. the drama/thriller has been described as being a “romance about a troubled trumpet player and a winged beauty who rescue each other from dire circumstances.” Rourke says, “she has wings, so she was sort of an oddity trapped in a carnival act. She’s been a prisoner her whole life, and she has no understanding of trust. She’s very vulnerable and delicate.” Fox as an angel and Rourke as a trumpet player! If anything, this film is going to be interesting.

If Megan Fox was ever worried about losing her role in Transformers from those nasty Hitler comments she made about director Micheal Bay, she can stop now. In a recent interview with Ann Oldenburg, Bay revealed that there’s a role for Fox in the third installment of the franchise and he has no plans of getting rid of her.
Have you ever watched a movie and thought to yourself, how the hell did this person get cast? Hollywood is full of successful actors and actresses who’ve made a steady living off of their “craft,” and by craft I mean the ability to bullshit their way into films. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of aspiring Sean Penns out there, but for every one there are three Ashton Kutchers. For every young Meryl Streep there are five Megan Foxs and it’s been like that since the beginning of time.

What’s it take to be considered the best Sci-Fi actress? Apparently the best pout. At the Scream 2009 Awards, Miss Megan Fox herself was voted the “Best Sci-Fi Actress” aka the “Sexiest Sci-fi Actress” for her role in Transformers 2 – come on, we all know, including her, that it wasn’t her acting that anyone enjoyed about her being on screen.

The first sign of the apocalypse has been revealed with Michael Bay‘s announcement that Transformers 3 has begun pre-production. It took a long time for me to get the disturbing taste of Revenge of the Fallen out of my mouth, and now I have to brace myself for its follow up. Over at Bay’s official website, he gave an update of the sequel’s story and the film’s ever pending release date.
This weekend will mark the beginning of a new season for the longstanding sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. While I haven’t been enthralled by the series for quite a few years, producer Lorne Michaels still manages to book some of the hottest actors and performers to appear on the show. His choice for the season opener could be considered suspect, since the actor in question is Megan Fox.

A staple of the long running sketch series Saturday Night Live, involves each episode being hosted by a major film or TV star. This fall SNL will return to NBC for its 35th season, and the first four hosts of the show have already been announced. Transformers star Megan Fox, Ryan Reynolds, Drew Barrymore, and Gerard Butler have all been confirmed to appear on the New York stage opposite some of today’s top musical acts.
