Maggie Q has a lot to live up to with her new gig as the illusive “Nikita.” She stars as the title character in The CW series that’s based off the 1990 Luc Besson film La Femme Nikita, which spawned a TV spin-off during the mid-nineties, and now over a decade later another one is hitting the small screen. Q has done her fair share of action with roles in Mission Impossible 3 and the upcoming vampire thriller Priest, but the fight choreography she does for “Nikita” is a little different. After multiple delays and a 3D conversion, Screen Gems upcoming Manga adaptation Priest has made its way to San Diego Comic-Con. The film is officially scheduled to hit theaters on May 13, 2011 and reunites director Scott Stewart with his Legion star Paul Bettany. Today we took part in the official roundtable interviews for the film that not only featured Bettany and Stewart but co-stars Maggie Q, Karl Urban, and yes Cam Gigandet from Twilight.

The entire event was light and funny. Bettany was hilarious and his young son (who was in the room) came up to him in the middle of the interview and gave him a big kiss! It was very sweet. Later on Stewart was speaking and Bettany came over after he left the table and interrupted to ask the director a question. It was very loose and relaxed. This is quite possibly one of the biggest cast of directors and actors out there. New York, I Love You is a combination of 12 short films that take place in New York. The film follows (or rather pays omage to) the style of Paris, Je T’Aime. Each film has a different director, different actors, but they all come together in one way; they are about finding love in New York.

The film includes a series of short films directed by Jian Wen, Mira Nair, Brett Ratner, Allen Hughes, Shekhar Khapur, Natalie Portman, Fatih Akin, Joshua Marston and Randy Balsmyer.
