Lost Dr. Linus Michael Emerson as Ben 9 3 10 kc Lost: Season 6 Episode 7: Dr Linus TV Review

Last night’s episode of “Lost” was entitled, “Dr. Linus,” and it centered on my favorite character on the show. Ben was on the outside looking in when his dark little secret regarding Jacob was discovered and his life was on the line thanks to “Jacob’s bodyguard,” Illana. Jacob’s loyal follower was in the mood to put a hurtin’ on the castaway due to his actions towards the only father figure she’s ever known. We also got a peek into the alternate timeline where Dr. Linus, the history professor, exhibited some classic Ben behavior to get his way.

Lost: Season 6 Episode 6: Sundown – TV Review

Lost Sundown Kate and Sayid 3 2 10 kc Lost: Season 6 Episode 6: Sundown TV Review

The latest episode of “Lost” entitled “Sundown” was a lot more action oriented than previous installments and I loved it. Sayid was the central focus, but we still saw a few glimpses of Claire and Pseudo-Locke at the temple. For some odd reason, everyone had either gone crazy or was beginning to descend into madness thanks to the manipulations of the smoke monster/man in black/Pseudo-Locke. This episode wasn’t boring by a long shot, but even though it kept our attention the storytelling element was so-so.

Lost Lighthouse Jack and Hurley 23 2 10 kc Lost: Season 6 Episode 5: Lighthouse TV Review

This week’s episode of “Lost” was entitled “Lighthouse,” and it was awesome. After the season six premiere, the last few episodes have been so-so but last night they kicked it up notch. Usually, the flashbacks, flashforwards, or in this case, flashacrosses are hit or miss with me and serve as fluff for the episode, but that wasn’t the case here. The storyline between Jack, his son and his life on the island matched up pretty well and played as damn good television. Here’s my picks for the highs and lows from “Lighthouse…”

Lost: Season 6 Episode 4: The Substitute – TV Review

Lost The Substitute 16 2 10 kc Lost: Season 6 Episode 4: The Substitute – TV Review

This week’s episode of “Lost” was entitled “The Substitute” and it was a refreshing break from last week’s Kate-centric episode. It mostly focused on Locke and Pseudo-Locke in both the island’s reality and the alternate timeline. “The Substitute” was a good attempt by the writers to produce an episode with real cliff hanger potential, unfortunately the ending was predictable. The reveal during the final act of last night’s show wasn’t as groundbreaking as I thought it would be, but there were still a few positive moments that compensated for the failed attempt.

Lost What Does Kate Do Jin Sayid Jack 9 2 10 kc Lost: Season 6 Episode 3: What Kate Does TV Review

Last night’s episode of “Lost” was entitled, “What Kate Does,” and yes it was all about Kate. There was a little Jack, Sayid, Sawyer, and Claire thrown in but for the most part it was about Ms. Austen’s actions and their outcome. The islanders were right where we left them after the premiere, in the temple with the new “Others” led by Dogen and Lennon. This episode wasn’t as strong as the previous one, and as always it had its strong points as well as its weak ones.
