This is kind of a good week for movies. Why? Star Trek is finally being released! Now I’m not a huge Star Trek fan, but this movie has gotten really good reviews, fans and newbies alike. It should be a popcorn movie worth your cash. The next film of interest is Rudo Y Cursi, Diego Luna and Gael Garia Bernal star in this film about two brothers who play on opposing professional soccer teams. The writer/director of this film, Carlos Cuaron, was also the writer for the film Y Tu Mama, Tambien. The last movie that seems interesting is Outrage, a documentary about the secret lives of gay politicians. If documentaries aren’t your thing, don’t worry, there is plenty to see this week.

• Kate Beckinsale done with Underworld: Although another film is most likely in the works, Kate won’t be a part of it. “I think they’re still going, they probably will. I’m not sure I will,” she told us. “I feel like I’ve played that character enough times that I don’t think I’d be excited to play the same character again. It’s a weird experience. • Looks like there will be a new Hellraiser: Director, Pascal Laugier is in final negotiations to write and direct a remake of Clive Barker’s classic Hellraiser. “This is a dream project for me,” Laugier said. “I know Clive Barker’s work very well, and I would never betray what he has done.
