We all know that Liam Neeson is a badass. He’s not an overt, in your face action star but the man can handle himself in a fight. His latest film cleverly titled Unknown will have him fighting for not only his life but his identity. The film’s trailer was released last month and it featured the actor doing what he does best: running with a gun in his hand. Now an official poster has been released and it shares a common theme with one of Neeson’s previous projects. Can you tell which one?

Liam Neeson is in everything! Seriously, who is this man’s agent?! Over the past few years he’s been working non-stop and now not only is he taking parts offered to him, he’s taking parts that belonged to other people. Case in point, Mel Gibson was recently dropped from appearing in the sequel The Hangover 2 because the cast and crew highly opposed it. Therefore, they tapped Bradley Cooper’s A-Team co-star Neeson to take his place. No one had an objection to that!

Liam Neeson is at it again. The actor has another movie heading to theaters (does he ever stop?) and it’s called Unknown. It’s an action thriller mixed with a tale of mistaken identity that has Neeson on a search for answers. The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra who previously helmed the horror film Orphan and that God awful remake, House of Wax. Hopefully this movie is nothing like the latter. Check out the trailer below…

Over the past year Liam Neeson has made some questionable career choices, with his most recent being Battleship. Now according to ComingSoon, we can expect to see him again in another glossy, action film, Clash of the Titans 2. The actor will reprise his role as Zeus in the 3D sequel and he’ll be joined by Ralph Fiennes who played his evil brother Hades in the first film.

Over the past year or so, Liam Neeson has been signing on to some questionable films. We let The A-Team slide because of the nostalgia factor, but now he’s adding another military movie to his resume — Battleship. As in the Universal-Peter Berg directed adaptation of the popular Hasbro board game. What the hell?

At this point, we should know that Liam Neeson can do it all. He’s a gentle giant who knows his way around a lightsaber, and could also bust a cap in your ass at a moments notice. That type of diversity must be why John Woo is interested in him for his upcoming film, Flying Tigers. According to a report from THR, the director has his eye on the veteran actor to play the older lead who’s got some miles on him but can still hold his own.

Are you ready to see Russell Crowe bust a cap in someone’s ass? It’s been a long time since we seen that revenge seeking version of the actor on the big screen (Robin Hood just didn’t cut it). Luckily for us, the theatrical trailer for his new film The Next Three Days has been released on Yahoo and we get to see a bit of the old Russell. Check out the trailer below…

I love it when an action film comes together! Despite the fact that this movie continually reminded me of Team America, it’s a solid piece of entertainment. With all the explosions, flying tanks, witty lines and references you’re hoping for, it’s pure cheesy fun. Out of all the action movies that we’ve had this summer, this is the first that is pure entertainment from start to finish (don’t shove Iron Man 2 in my face, it’s a different type of film).

Last week, we sat down to a press conference with the director of The A-Team Joe Carnahan along with cast members, Liam Neeson (Hannibal), Bradley Cooper (Face), Sharlto Copley (Murdock) and Jessica Biel (Sosa) to talk about how the plan came together (so cheap – I know). I should mention that Rampage Jackson, the man who plays B.A. Baracus was also in attendance, but he didn’t really say much — in many ways his large sunglasses and physique said all it needed to.
Joe was extremely forthright and one of the first things he said was that the reason he made the movie was for money, the gang talks male bonding and why they all love their character and more below…
