Films rarely age like fine wine, so when a film that’s been sitting in a can for a couple of years finally comes out, it’s easy to be wary. The problem is that studios change hands and films can lost in the shuffle. We may yet see some good delayed releases that were simply caught in the mix. Cabin in the Woods, the Red Dawn remake, and Margaret may yet see the light of day in the next year, and A Good Old Fashioned Orgy (shot in 2008) – which stars Jason Sudekis, Leslie Bibb, Tyler Labine, Will Forte, and Lucy Punch among others – will finally hit theaters September 2. Last week we had talking robots saving the earth, now it’s time for talking animals, Kevin James and Adam Sandler style. Zookeeper is the story of a zookeeper who gets dumped for being, well, a zookeeper. He might be in love and out of luck with the girl of his dreams, but he’s great at his job and more importantly, the animals love him. The premise might not seem so enticing, but behind this wacky story there’s a voice cast of A-list comedians. Let’s see if they were able to make this live-action comedy work…

In the first Iron Man, actress Leslie Bibb played a strong willed journalist from Vanity Fair Magazine who had a bone to pick with Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark. She was so appalled by his weapons business that she gave him a very strong talking to and then slept with him. How ironic (rolls eyes)? After that we thought we’d never see her again but she’s back for Iron Man 2 and it makes Tony very, very nervous. Check out her arrival as well as a sweet new IMAX poster…

Talk about coming out of left field. A trailer has been released via Entertainment Tonight for F. Gary Gray’s thriller, Law Abiding Citizen. It stars Gerard Butler as a mourning father and husband turned serial killer. I too was freaked out by that sentiment. After watching this thing I have to tell you the acting isn’t that great. It co-stars Jamie Foxx , Leslie Bibb, and a whole lot of excessive explosions.

Oh no Kevin James is making another comedy, and I use the word comedy loosely. According to RopeofSilicon, James will star in a new film entitled, The Zookeeper. After the unexplained success of Paul Blart: Mall Cop, the actor will star in his latest project alongside Rosario Dawson and Leslie Bibb. The premise for it is pretty ridiculous, but I would expect nothing more from the guy.
