Last week the new season of “Law & Order: SVU” premiered on NBC and you know what that means: new guest stars. Tonight’s installment will feature Jennifer Love Hewitt “like you’ve never seen her before.” She appears in the episode entitled “Behave” and yes, she does play a victim.
Are you fighting an acute case of “Lost” withdrawal? Do you need closure? Are you in desperate need of hearing Henry Ian Cusick say, “Brother” one last time? Well, we’re not sure if you’ll get all that but we do know that you’ll see the actor on the small screen again next season. This time it will be on NBC’s long running cop drama, “Law & Order: SVU” according to a report from TV Guide.
Over the past few seasons Law & Order: SVU has been playing musical ADAs with Stephanie March, Diane Neal, that chick from “One Tree Hill” (who failed miserably), Christine Lahti, and most recently Sharon Stone during the last 4 episodes of the season. According to EW, the producers are trying their luck again with someone new, someone “precious.” Paula Patton is nearing a deal to take over the open ADA spot and we’re hoping that this one sticks!
Veteran actress Sharon Stone will be sinking her heels into the backs of sexual predators and murderers when she guest stars on “Law & Order: SVU” during sweeps. She’ll appear in several episodes as a high powered, assistant district attorney who tells it like it is. Watch out!
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Mischa Barton grace the small screen on a respectable show. And in no way, shape or form am I implying that “The O.C.” was high brow, but it was better than that series she did on The CW that only lasted two episodes last year. The actress is trying to add some credibility to her resume by appearing as a “lady of the night” on “Law & Order: SVU.”
