The very talented, but highly underrated director Larry Charles has landed a new gig. According to Deadline, the guy who helmed Borat, Bruno, and some key episodes of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” will step behind the camera once again for a comedy called Pierre Pierre. It will feature Jim Carrey in the lead, and we’re hoping it will take him back to his hilarious roots. We miss funny Carrey!

Next Wednesday at the Aero Theater in Montana you will be able to get a sneak preview of Religulous, brought to you by Director Larry Charles’ ( BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN) who follows around Bill Maher (TV’s “Real Time With Bill Maher,” “Politically Incorrect”) as he travels around the globe asking people questions about God, Jesus, and religion. Some of the places he visits are a Bible theme park where “enactor Jesus” takes his job very seriously, a Creationist Museum where dinosaurs frolic with cave men and an Israeli inventor’s shop where contraptions find ways around the “day of rest” practices of the Jewish Sabbath.
