We recently reported on how Saw VI director Kevin Greutert, was up to helm the sequel to the surprise hit, Paranormal Activity. According to Cinemablend, the folks over at Lionsgate, the studio producing the Saw films, have forced Greutert to direct the next installment of their series, which would delay production on Paramount’s Paranormal Activity 2.

We all knew the sequel to Paranormal Activity would be coming sooner or later, the first film made too much money for Paramount to pass up. Now the low-budget goldmine will return with a follow up that will be helmed by Kevin Greutert, aka the guy who directed Saw VI.
