John Landis is back on the movie scene. According to /Film, the director has cast Simon Pegg in his upcoming film, Burke & Hare. Fans are used to seeing both Landis and Pegg work in the comedic-horror field, so Burke & Hare shouldn’t be that much of a stretch. The story centers on two Irishman who murder for medicine. Nothing is sacred. Next we’re going to hear that they’re remaking Gone with the Wind with vampires and pirates. In fact I might prefer that to what is actually happening. According the to BloodyDisgusting website, the Weinstein Brothers are remaking writer/director John Landis’ An American Werewolf in London (please hold all complaints until you hear more).
