Over the past few years, Walt Disney Pictures has been teaming up with celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz to recreate some of their most iconic characters. They get Hollywood’s hottest stars and place them in scenarios from classic Disney films. Some of the previous photos they’ve done included Rachel Weisz as Snow White, Beyonce as Alice in Wonderland, and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony as Princess Jasmine and Aladdin.

Jeff Bridges has two movies in theaters this month, Tron Legacy and True Grit. They’re very different in every sense of the word. One is a rusty and tough Western and the other is a sleek and polished fantasy flick. The one thing they have in common is Bridges and the talent and feeling that only he can bring. While out promoting his latest film with the Coen Brothers ( he also worked with them on The Big Lebowski) he spoke about making the jump from Crazy Heart to Tron to True Grit, and the preparation he went through to make the transition. He also revealed how nervous he was to take on a role previously played by John Wayne and what the Coen’s had to do to convince him to star in the film.

The original 1969 film was directed by Henry Hathaway and featured John Wayne in his only Oscar winning role. So when the acclaimed directing team of Joel and Ethan Coen decided to adapt the Charles Portis novel of the same name, they had their work cut out for them. Last weekend, Oscar winner Jeff Bridges appeared as the host on the holiday themed episode of “Saturday Night Live.” Even though the show has been seriously lacking in the comedy department over the past few years, this latest installment had its moments. The writers teamed Bridges with an awesome blue creature from “Sesame Street” — Cookie Monster! If you remember, back in November Cookie Monster shot an audition tape (which went viral) to prove that he had what it takes to host SNL.
