NBC claimed that the main reason they wanted to bring Jay Leno back into their late night fold was because of the low ratings new host Conan O’ Brien was earning for the network. For the first time during the many years that the show had been on the air it was losing money, but that was only a sign of things to come. According to Reuters, upon his return to “The Tonight Show,” Leno has brought in slightly lower numbers than O’Brien did in 2009.

While out on the road doing his comedy ‘thing’ Conan O’ Brien decided to stop by Google headquarters in Silicon Valley. He along with his sidekick Andy Richter were on hand to make a room full of employees laugh and feel uncomfortable all at the same time. He made obvious digs at his late night nemesis Jay Leno highlighting his lisp and his famous “it wasn’t my fault” defense. Check it out…

When it comes to the NBC late night shakeup that occurred a few months ago, Conan O’Brien says he would have done things a lot differently than his counterpart, Jay Leno. In his first post-”Tonight Show” interview, which is scheduled to air on “60 Minutes” this Sunday, Coco told journalist Steve Kroft (more or less) that Leno played him dirty…

Oh, thank the gods—Conan O’Brien is returning to a television near you this fall. According to CNN (who is like TBS but owned by Time Warner), O’Brien will be starting a new late-night talk show to debut in November. Immediately following O’Brien’s new late-night show will be George Lopez with Lopez Tonight at midnight.
While one would have hoped for a two-birds-one-stone situation in which Conan returns to television only to utterly banish and destroy the sheer horror of horror s that is Lopez tonight, you gotta take what you can get. Let’s just hope that the resulting matter/ anti-matter collision of Conan’s humor to Lopez’s schtick will be enough to obliterate the latter.

America has spoken. Even though a huge cloud of negative energy surrounded Jay Leno’s return to “The Tonight Show,” he’s managed to prevail. Remember when everyone said they were through with him after the underhanded way he and NBC handled Conan O’Brien? I guess those folks changed their tune, because Leno is back at number one leaving David Letterman, “Nightline,” and Jimmy Kimmel in the dust.

This evening, “The Tonight Show” will return with new episodes along with a (old) new host, Jay Leno. He regained the reigns to the program after a very public and tumultuous three-way war with NBC and his successor Conan O’Brien. Some people claim that his tactics were underhanded, while others say it’s just business. The question of who’s right and who’s wrong will come to a head when the long running series returns tonight, so will you watch?

Jay Leno will be returning to NBC’s “The Tonight Show” on March 1st and the guest list for his first two weeks has been revealed. Surprisingly it doesn’t look that bad, and even though the general public has branded him as public enemy number one he’s managed to get several notable actors to appear on the show. It looks like Leno may still have a few aces up his sleeve.

During this year’s Winter Olympics NBC has received the highest ratings they’ve had in a very long time. They have the majority of the country’s attention, which means it would be a great time to insert promotion for Jay Leno. They aired the commercial for the host’s return to “The Tonight Show” last night and it was kind of tasteless.

Last night while watching the Super Bowl, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. It looked like there was a commercial for “The Late Show with David Letterman” that featured the host, alongside Oprah Winfrey and dare I say, Jay Leno? It wasn’t a dream, and it wasn’t necessarily a nightmare, it was just weird. Over at EW, they sat down and interviewed Letterman’s producer and found out how they were able to pull off one of the most secretive Super Bowl ads in history.
