Lost and Taken alum Maggie Grace is in negotiations to join James Mangold‘s untitled Wichita feature. According to THR, the young actress is set to star opposite Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the spy thriller. The film will be produced by Fox, and has gone through some serious changes since the last time we covered it.

Tom Cruise and his Vanilla Sky co-star Cameron Diaz are reuniting for another film. According to Variety, the actors will star in the James Mangold project, Wichita. Unlike the previous film they were featured in Wichita is a comedy, an action comedy! Cruise has been courting the project for a while, and is finally in advanced negotiations to star.
Diaz and Cruise have both approved the script for the film which has gone through several rewrites since it’s initial draft. In Wichita, “Cruise will play a secret agent who pops in and out of the life of a single woman.” Although, it seems as if this film may finally be getting off the ground, neither actors are sitting around waiting for it.

Who will direct the final installment in the Twilight saga, Eclipse? As we reported earlier Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona has become one of the front runners to helm the third film along with James Mangold and Drew Barrymore. Depending on each person’s interpretation of the book the film can be a definite hit or miss. I’m personally going for Bayona. I think he would have a fresh perspective on the story and end the series on a high note. Mangold is a talented man in his own right, but I don’t know if he would put his all into a teen novel adaptation. Barrymore is young and I’m all for her making the transition to director, but I don’t think this is the film for her to do it.

- Ralph Fiennes is gearing up to make his directorial debut with Coriolanus. Fiennes will pull double duty as director and star of the film, which is based off of the Shakespearean play of the same name. Coriolanus is about a “proud but contemptuous soldier Coriolanus spurred on by his mother to run for the Roman Senate, which ultimately leads to his downfall.” [First Showing]
- Kate Hudson, Ned Beatty, Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba, and Elias Koteas haved all signed on to star in the psychological thriller, The Killer Inside Me. The film is based off of the novel by Jim Thompson, and will be directed by Michael Winterbottom. [Screen Daily]
- Get a sneak peak of Taboo from the hip hop group the Black Eyes Peas as he makes his feature film debut. The rapper will star as Vega in this months Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. [First Showing]
