According to NolanRans.com Director Christopher Nolan has started production on his new film Inception in Tokyo, Japan, one of the six countries in which the film takes place in. According to reports, the film is already underway and on location.
Christopher Nolan seems to be pulling out all the stops for his follow up to last summer’s The Dark Knight. The comic book champ, who broke box office records left and right with The Dark Knight must have some major clout with the studios. According to The Calgary Sun, Nolan’s upcoming thriller Inception will come with a hefty price tag of 200 million dollars! The film will have multiple location shoots spanning five countries, and will be one of the biggest productions Alberta’s ever seen.
It’s safe to say that Christopher Nolan basically has his choice of any actors he wants. That being said, he’s really come up with an interesting collection of actors for his upcoming film Inception. Well isn’t this a nice surprise? There were rumors that suggested frequent Christopher Nolan collaborator, Michael Caine might star in his top secret film Inception. No official press release or character list featured the actor so we all assumed it was a bunch of hot air. We just got word that Joseph Gordon-Levitt joined the cast, and now perhaps Caine will follow? According to Firstshowing, the actor has confirmed himself as a co-star in the sci-fi feature.

James Franco was set to join the cast but unfortunately backed out due to scheduling conflicts. That left the door open for another young actor to take his place, and according to THR it’s going to be Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
