Takers is what happens when half of Danny Ocean’s crew is combined with the team from The Italian Job, and the assassins from 1998′s The Big Hit. These are professional thieves, who dress nice, drive fast cars (and bikes), and aren’t afraid to kill someone when it comes to their money. Takers isn’t a particularly special heist movie but the actors try their best to make it one (and they look pretty good while doing it).
Here’s our review…

Well, all good things but come to an end because one of the actor’s most well known characters will now be played by someone else. According to Deadline, the role of Dr. Alex Cross which Freeman previously played in Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider is being revamped with Idris Elba.

Do you have a craving for some really bad acting, stagnant fight choreography, and unnecessary and misused explosions? Although a sequel may seem a little premature for The Losers, it’s clear that the director Sylvain White is hoping for a big enough box office opening to be able to continue the series and possibly even make a video game. Just by the way that Sylvain spoke about the graphic novel and adapting it, you could tell what a big fan of the series he is. He’s obviously put a lot into this film and is hoping that it will carry on into more. The film definitely has the potential to do so, it’s completely over the top in a good way and will have you laughing the whole way through. I’m even going to PAY to see it again on opening day! (Gasp!)
During a press conference for The Losers over the weekend, one of the stars of the film, Idris Elba was asked about the return of his character for the sequel. He, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the director all discussed the possibility of the characters returning and what would need to happen in order to do so… Continue Reading
