A lot of interesting news has come out of the Warner Bros panel during ShoWest and one of the biggest breaks has to do with the culmination of the Harry Potter franchise. According to Collider, the studio has an exit strategy as to how they’ll lift their dependency from the JK Rowling series as their main source of blockbuster material. They’ve decided to turn to the properties under the DC Comics banner to carry them through the new decade.

The 3-D craze won’t die, and it’s once again taking Harry Potter under its wing. According to THR, the final two films in the Potter franchise, The Deathly Hallows will be converted to 3-D, and they’re bringing Clash of the Titans with them. Just last week there was some buzz stating that the upcoming Sam Worthington film would be given a last minute upgrade in the visual department, and it sounds like it’s true.

The upcoming Universal theme park entitled, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has fans from all over anxious for the finished product. On the Blu-ray disc of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince viewers are given a sneak peek at the Orlando theme park before it makes its debut next spring.
